Well, it's finally here--the day our family's been anticipating (and dreading) for 19 years. Freddy said goodbye to us last night, to Mom this morning in Virginia, and will to the rest of the gang in Utah on Wednesday before he heads to the Provo MTC to begin his missionary training. If all goes well, he will fly to New Caledonia in about a month, where he'll stay for the next 2 years!!! We are all so proud of Frederick--he is an amazing young man and will be a wonderful missionary. I guess that's why we're going to miss him so much! He will give his heart and soul to the people of New Caledonia, of that I am sure. What an experience it will be! We look forward to hearing about his adventures and seeing the ways he will definitely grow.
