Happy Birthday, Bennett!

Well, the big guy is 5! Bennett's birthday was last Thursday, and we celebrated with his friends at a pool on Saturday. It was a blast! It had been raining all morning, and we were worried that we would have to move the party to our house, but Bennett started praying that Heavenly Father would make the rain stop for his birthday party... and it did! By 10:45 the skies were dry, and by 11:00 (when the party started) the sun was even starting to come out. He had a hot, humid, sticky party--which was exactly what he prayed for :o) The kids had so much fun, and Ethan is counting down the days till his birthday. I didn't realize how hard that would be--having to watch his older brother open presents and Ethan not having any of his own to open. This is the first year he's really understood that. Now he says "My bursday's in one monf!" I've got a lot to live up to :o) Enjoy the pictures!

Someone looks very content...

Ethan had as much fun as Bennett did!

The party's over here!

Bennett's "non-cake" cake--he doesn't like cake, so Jeremy made it out of ice cream and cookies. It was a Cars cake--see the "Route 66" in the middle? Good job, Dad!!!
